Aims & Objectives
Our overall aim is to help people improve their lives and neighbourhoods - in some of the UK’s most deprived areas. We’re also committed to working in partnership with local people, businesses and organisations in order to achieve this.
Through our work we aim to:
Encourage and enable people to volunteer - as a way of improving their lives, neighbourhoods and the lives of others.
Give people a voice and the support they need to influence local decision making - as a way of ensuring people engage with and are proud of where they live.
Support local community and voluntary organisations, such as residents’ groups, who often hold the key to improving and transforming communities.
Improve the local environment through our own projects and by supporting local people’s projects and ideas.
