Making every action count

The Partnership Council was founded in 1998 by a steering group of local residents and workers who were determined to give their community a way of tackling issues that were relevant to where they live.

Over the years the Partnership Council has gone from strength to strength establishing and delivering a wide range of innovative and effective community projects such as the Children’s Forum, the Spring Clean Group and Base Camp.

The Partnership Council has developed these projects by working with local groups and residents at a grass roots level to create real change on community issues. Projects such as, the Children’s Forum and Parks and Open Spaces Forum have grown and inspired others to be proactive in improving their community and environment.

The Partnership Council is a forward thinking community action group and we believe the future of the Partnership Council’s work and commitment to community issues is in the hands of our local communities and residents. Our aim is to work in partnership with residents, communities and voluntary agencies to improve where you live.
